Whereas we can cast our votes on voting machines but we cannot tell if the machine is
recording our votes the way we voted, whether the machine is adding additional votes or
removing votes it dislikes,

Whereas we the software in voting machines is privately owned and the public is not
allowed to confirm that it is working,

Whereas we only have confidence in our vote if we voted with a paper ballot we could
verify,

Whereas tools exist that assist disabled voters in marking ballots identical to those
used by other votes,

Be it resolved that all voting systems used by disabled voters in Washington State will
be ballot marking devices

Be it resolved that all voting systems in Washington State produce a voter verified
paper ballots, and these ballots are the official record of the vote.
